Wendy has 15 years of experience in recommending, developing and managing strategic B2B and B2C communications programs for diverse healthcare organizations. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English and a Post-Baccalaureate Graduate Certification in Multimedia Writing & Technical Communication (MWTC) from Arizona State University.
Directly before joining Premier, Wendy had embarked on an Alaskan adventure with her husband to serve a small rural Aleut Native community on the Aleutian Chain bringing technological advancement to their school district and community. During this time, she was a substitute teacher for the community and worked for Peter Pan Seafoods as an Office Operations Manager improving human resource processes and community relationships with the local Tribes, school and businesses.
Prior to Alaska, Wendy served as the Senior Manager, Marketing Communications & Education for the National Council for Prescription Drug Programs (NCPDP) where she managed, developed and implemented marketing communications programs for the organization’s education, meeting and membership channels. She optimized educational programming and conference marketing strategies increasing attendance and participation to help stakeholders develop safer pharmacy industry standards. Before NCPDP Wendy spent seven years as the Marketing Director for the Area Agency on Aging, Region One, a healthcare and social service non-profit, where she developed strategic marketing communications, multimedia collateral and community partnerships for more than sixty programs and services. Wendy has also created communication collateral, website content and social media strategy for several Information Technology organizations, non-profit councils, foundations and boards.
